Tadpoles

Tadpoles our prime communication tool at Elaine Rosi Academy. Tadpoles comes with an app for your cell phone that every parent is encouraged to download the Tadpoles app on their phone. Every classroom has tablets in it that use this very app to communicate directly to parents. Tadpoles allows you to be in the classroom and to know what is going on throughout the day in your students life. Tadpoles also integrates with our curriculum making it easy to capture and store your child’s milestones and progress.

Tadpoles is not only used by our parents and teachers, but is also used by our administration team. Below, you will find an explanation of how teachers, parents, and administrators use Tadpoles.

TEACHERS WILL USE TADPOLES TO:

-Share photos, videos, and notes throughout the day.

-Send home Weekly Wrap Ups every Friday

-Record meals, activities, naps and more to daily reports

-take attendance

-Keep track of children who are absent of on vacation

-View medical information and birthday reminders

-View emergency and contact information

-Communicate with Parents and track student progress

PARENTS WILL USE TADPOLES TO:

-Receive photos, videos, and notes by e-mail

-Download or share photos and videos of your student (including to social media!)

-Receive Emergency Alerts by text message

-View your students portfolio.

-Mark your child absent and leave drop off notes for your student.

ADMINISTRATORS WILL USE TADPOLES TO:

-View real-time classroom counts

-Manage Employees

-View medical and birthday reminders

-Approve photos and videos

-Send notes and letters to parents.

-Take attendance

-Track and export attendance details

-Store child/parent information
