What Is Elaine Rosi Academy?

Elaine Rosi Acadmey is a licensed preschool facility located in Wildwood Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis.

Our school offers children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age care. We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30AM until 6PM and is open most holidays.

Our History

Established in 1983, Elaine Rosi Academy for Children (formerly Martha Rounds) is a family owned and operated preschool with over 35 years of dedication and experience.

The Academy was started in 1983 by Martha Rounds, a Saint Louis business women dedicated to bringing a caring, personal, and developmental approach to childcare. Originally, the center functioned out of two converted school buildings, one in Brentwood and the other in Glendale. In 1989, both locations were consolidated into its present address at 8900 Manchester Road in Brentwood.

Elaine Rosi was hired by Martha Rounds as director of The Academy in 2001, and in September 2002 Elaine and Richard Rosi purchased the school. In 2005, Elaine Rosi Academy for Children opened its second location in Wildwood. Today, as then, the Elaine Rosi Academy for Children has the reputation of being one of the most reputable private schools in the Midwest.

Mission Statement

Our primary directive is to meet the unique needs of your child, realizing that a child’s self-worth is dependent upon an understanding of the world in which we live.

Our focus is on nurturing your child’s self-worth, your child’s desire to be unique, your child’s physical abilities, your child’s emotional security, your child’s social acceptance, and your child’s intellectual development. Your child is encouraged to participate in activities through a variety of self-selected and group-oriented functions with respect to children’s choices. We are a family-oriented bunch, and we want your child and your family to think of us as your extended family!
